THE ASTONS CRICKET CLUB - established 1985

The Astons Cricket Club originated back in the early 1980s as the pub side for The Boot Public House in Aston Upthorpe, but shortly after it became the village club. This year sees its 20th anniversary and various celebratory events are being planned.

It plays friendly non league games and has a full list of home and away fixtures between April and September each year. Its season usually includes a touring weekend during the summer, and a series of net sessions at a local leisure centre before the season starts.

The club welcomes new players of all abilities.
